All the accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case in Ayodhya have been released. The court said the Babri Masjid was not pre-planned and demolished. It happened suddenly. The court said there was no strong evidence against the culprits. The court also criticized the prosecution for failing to prove the case. The leaders tried to stop the crowd. There were a lot of people in the place. The court said either of them could be found guilty. The verdict was handed down by Special CBI Court Judge Surendrakumar Yadav. The verdict is 2000 pages long.
The Uttar Pradesh Waqf Board said it would approach the high court against the verdict. Senior BJP leader LK Advani has been booked in a 27-year-old criminal case. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh and Uma Bharti are among the 32 accused in the case. The Babri Masjid was demolished on December 6, 1992
Vinay Katyar, Sadhvi Ritambara, Champat Rai, Ram Vilas Vedanti, Dharmadas, Sakshi Maharaj, Braj Bhushan, Sharan Yadav and Pawan Pandey are among the 26 accused in the case. LK Advani, Murli Manohar Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti, Mahant Nrityagopal Das and Satish Pradhan were not present. They heard the verdict through
video conferencing. Uma Bharathi did not appear in court as Kovid was affected.
Security has been beefed up at the court premises and in Ayodhya. More police and paramilitary personnel were deployed in and around Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi were interrogated through video conferencing. All of them had pleaded not guilty. It is alleged that the then Congress government accused
him of political hatred.
The other accused in the case are BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj, Ram Janmabhoomi Temple
Construction Trust general secretary Champat Rai, former MP Vinay Katyar and former
Madhya Pradesh minister and Bajrang Dal leader Jaibhan Singh Pavaiya. KK is appearing for 25 of the 32 accused. Is mixed. Lalit Singh is the CBI lawyer. The court examined 351 witnesses and examined 600 documents.
On April 19, 2017, the Supreme Court ordered that the trial be completed within two years and that the verdict be pronounced. The date was later extended to August 31 this year and then to this day
