Ayotzinapa case: Ex-director of the Federal Ministerial Police surrenders

Carlos Gómez Arrieta , former head of the Federal Ministerial Police turned himself in yesterday morning to the authorities of the Attorney General's Office. He is related to the Ayotzinapa case and he had an arrest warrant since last March. On September 26, when the 43 students of Ayotzinapa have disappeared 6 years ago, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador will offer a report on the status of the investigation. In the administration of President López Obrador , the investigations revolved around the case, since, with the meetings with the parents of the disappeared youth, attention has been paid to their requests; one of them was the capture of Carlos Gómez Arrieta.
