BLT IDR 600 thousand with BNI, BRI, BTN, and Mandiri accounts are already liquid

President Jokowi launched a cash direct assistance (BLT) program for workers who have wages below IDR 5 million on Thursday, 27 August 2020.

Jokowi said that the provision of direct cash assistance (BLT) of Rp. 600 thousand per month to workers registered at BPJS Ketengakagakerjaan was an appreciation.

The President said that the appreciation was given because they routinely paid BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions until June 2020.


Meanwhile, the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah stated that the disbursement was only for stage I.

Ida explained that this first phase of disbursement was intended for validated workers and the majority of whom had accounts of Bank BNI, Bank BRI, Bank Mandiri and Bank BTN.

The details of the distribution of direct cash assistance (BLT) in each channeling bank from a total of 2.5 million recipients of the first batch are as follows

In the account of PT Bank Mandiri Persero Tbk more than 700,000,

In the bank account of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Persero (BNI) Tbk more than 900,000,

In the account of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Persero (BRI) Tbk more than 600,000, and

In the account of PT Bank Tabungan Negara Persero (BTN) Tbk more than 200,000.

Recipients of direct cash assistance (BLT) for workers are targeted to be 15.7 million people who will be distributed by the end of September 2020. Therefore, the government still provides opportunities for workers or companies that have not submitted or corrected data until August 30, 2020.

Here are 6 criteria for workers or laborers who are entitled to subsidized employee salaries of IDR 600,000 based on Article 3 of the Permenaker

  • Indonesian Citizen (WNI) as evidenced by a population identification number (NIK)

  • Registered as an active participant in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employment social security program as evidenced by a membership card number

  • Workers / laborers who receive salaries / wages

  • Participation until June 2020

  • An active participant in the social security program for employment who pays contributions with a contribution that is calculated based on a salary / wage below IDR 5 million in accordance with the latest salary / wages reported by the employer to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and recorded in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan

  • Have an active bank account.
