Regarding the rumors that circulate on social networks about the supposed beginning of the monetary unification as of October 1, 2020, the Central Bank of Cuba clarifies that this information is not true and ratifies that at the time that this is adopted The decision will be communicated to our people in due time through official channels. Likewise, it reiterates that the application of the monetary unification will not affect the cash in the possession of the population, nor the balances of their accounts in the banks.
