China has still not issued all the necessary permits for an international team of scientists to help address the issue of the origin of the new Covid-19 in the country. The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Tuesday. Chinese approach to the mission very disappointed him. Some members of the scientific team are already on their way to China. At the end of last year, the WHO announced that in January it would send a team of scientists from ten countries to China: Denmark, Britain, the Netherlands, Australia, Russia, Vietnam, Germany, the USA, Qatar and Japan. Each of them has a different expertise. According to Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, two members of the team had already set out for China, and others had to cancel it at the last minute. According to him, the arrival of scientists these days was arranged with Beijing. The AP agency described the reaction of the head of the WHO as a rare case in which he criticized the address of Beijing.
