Although the ÖVP likes to tell the story differently, migration movements towards Austria have picked up speed again. As the Krone reports, almost 4,500 migrants were picked up in July and August. And what's more, Germany is also sending more and more migrants back to Austria. For FPÖ club chairman NAbg. Herbert Kickl let this news ring all alarm bells: Germany sent almost 1,500 people back to Austria in July and August Interior Minister Nehammer accepts this in silence. Instead of rigorous border closings, he relies on his drone toys. An indictment for the interior minister of the people's party, which is supposedly tough on the migration issue.
For Kickl, the ÖVP is acting extremely irresponsible on this issue. As is known, Germany has put Vienna on the list of dangerous Corona locations. It is irresponsible to send migrants to Austria in such a dangerous situation if tourists and business travelers are warned at the same time to travel to Vienna for vacation or business meetings. The German Chancellor Angela Merkel imports refugees from all over the world and at the same time pushes them back to Austria. Are these refugees tested? Nobody knows. It's all just absurd, Kickl is convinced.
The FPÖ club chairman therefore calls for an immediate halt to the return of migrants from Germany to Austria, Chancellor Kurz and Interior Minister Nehammer must intervene with the German chancellor and put an end to this nonsense immediately.
