Patriots rookie Justin Rohrwasser says he will cover controversial tattoo

On Saturday, New England Patriots rookie kicker Justin Rohrwasser said, he will cover up a controversial tattoo he got as a teenager. The tattoo on his left arm resembles the symbol of a right-wing group called The Three Percenters.

He have a lot of family in the military.

He thought it stood for a military support symbol at the time. Obviously, it's evolved into something that he do not want to represent.

When he look back on it, he should have done way more research before he put any mark or symbol like that on his body and it's not something he ever want to represent. It will be covered.

The Three Percenters said, it's not a militia group. We are not anti-government. In fact, we are very pro-government so long as the government abides by the Constitution. We do not seek to incite a revolution. However, we will defend ourselves when necessary.

He described himself as a hard worker and somebody who is going to chase after the best version of themselves and a good teammate.

The Patriots selected Rohrwasser on Saturday with the No. 159 overall pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft.

Rohrwasser said, Patriots special teams coach Cameron Achord attended his pro day in early March and the two stayed in contact leading up to the draft. The Patriots gave him a psychological test.

He said, that stood out to me because I think that kicking a lot of it is mental. The fact they were looking into that, and what my mental makeup was, I think they put a lot of attention to who the player is as a person to figure out what kind of guy they're getting.
