At least 10,000 Armenians are protesting in Armenia demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. They protested around the Prime Minister's residence. Protests erupted in the Armenian capital on Saturday and Sunday, demanding the resignation of the prime minister. News Deutsche Welle. Protesters have taken to the streets to speak out against the Prime Minister. They also surrounded the Prime Minister's residence. Pashinyan, however, dismissed the demand for his resignation, saying there was no question of leaving power for now.
Three important territories of Nagorno-Karabakh fell into the hands of Azerbaijan after the agreement between Russia. The Armenian people had to vacate that area. Protests against the Prime Minister began in Armenia soon after. It is said that Armenia has compromised by signing the agreement. This has benefited Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Prime Minister himself has admitted that.
