Russia, China and Iran hold a multilateral naval exercise in the northern part of the Indian Ocean

Russian Information Agency quoted Levan Jagaryan, the Russian ambassador to Tehran, as saying today, Monday, that Moscow plans to hold joint naval exercises with Iran and China in the Indian Ocean later this month.
The three countries held a similar naval exercise in the Indian Ocean in December 2019.
The ambassador told the Russian Information Agency in an interview, the next multilateral naval exercises will take place in the northern part of the Indian Ocean in mid-February 2021.
He added that the exercises would include search and rescue operations and secure ship safety.
