Australian federal ministers have criticised social media companies for suspending US President Donald Trump’s accounts in a growing debate over censorship following last week’s mob violence at the United States Capitol. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said he was uncomfortable with Twitter's decision to take down Mr Trump's account and acting Prime Minister Michael McCormack blasted the move as censorship of political speech when the company had not suspended other views on its site.
