Dr. Nevin El-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity said, that the cook who works in a foster home, who harassed girls is now imprisoned because of what he did, while the victimized girls received psychological support.
Al-Kabbaj confirmed during a telephone interview with the ninth program broadcast on the Egyptian Channel One Sunday, that the ministry is following strict precautionary measures now in the care homes to preserve children and girls. The cook's case is an indecent assault and he is imprisoned.
She emphasized that the state pays great attention to developing care homes and adopting strict precautionary measures to preserve the nature of its work from the inside.
The Minister of Solidarity pointed to the importance of community participation in monitoring care homes by everyone, to monitor and report any violation following up we need the support of citizens.
