Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Preparedness Committee for the Fifty, stressed the importance of intensifying national governmental and community efforts to participate in building the future of the UAE, in line with the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, preparing for the next fifty to develop plans and directions in preparation for a new development stage in the next five decades to ensure a better future for future generations.
This came on the occasion of the UAE government launching a series of consultative and coordination meetings with the participation of ministers, officials and secretaries general of the executive councils in the Emirates, and representatives of federal and local government agencies, during which visions and future directions are determined in 6 main axes that include government, society, economy, education, infrastructure and sustainability. Environmental, security, justice and safety, as part of the fifty-year preparedness plan.
Mohammed Al-Gergawi said that the consultative meetings that are held with the participation of representatives of the federal and local government agencies come in implementation of the leadership's directives to enhance joint work and coordination between all parties in developing the preparation plan for the next fifty, and translate the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to prepare for the next stage by enhancing readiness. For the future and adopting a proactive approach that anticipates challenges to achieve the goals of the Year of Preparation for the next fifty.
He added that the year of preparation for the fifty constitutes a qualitative milestone in the path of the UAE, through which it establishes a new phase in the record of its accelerated economic, community and development renaissance, to be the best in the world by the centenary of its founding.
Muhammad Al-Gergawi valued the efforts of the work teams and the active participation of members of society in crystallizing ideas and perceptions that establish an exceptional stage in the state’s march, stressing that the consultative meetings constitute an important focus in a comprehensive national action strategy, through which the results and outputs of the joint national teams ’efforts and the proposals and recommendations of the community groups are discussed. I actively participated with the government over the past months to crystallize and develop future visions and directions for the UAE, thus contributing to designing an integrated plan to prepare for the next 50 years of the comprehensive development process launched by the founding fathers since the early beginnings of the UAE.
Consultative meetings are held to prepare for the Fifty-Year Preparedness Plan, with the participation of ministers, government officials, secretaries general of executive councils in the UAE, heads of departments and general directors in federal and local government agencies, and agency employees. Form recommendations for approval in the Fifty Preparation Committee headed by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chairman of the Fifty Preparedness Committee.
