Twitter Mexico suspends accounts related to AMLO for manipulation of the platform

Twitter Mexico suspended an undetermined number of accounts on Thursday , some of them related to the Q4 government , for violating the platform's rules and policies.

The most obvious accounts were @Miriam_Junne, @ElReyTuitero and @LOVREGA.

A spokesperson for Twitter Mexico told EL UNIVERSAL that the accounts were suspended for violating the spam and manipulation rules of the platform.

Faced with the suspensions, various users on the social network described the closure of the profiles as censorship also asked Twitter Mexico for explanations of why they were taken down and demanded that they be returned.

Through the account @TwitterSeguro, the platform clarified that manipulation of the platform is defined as the use of Twitter to carry out massive, high-intensity or deceptive actions that confuse people or hinder their experience.

He explained that the foregoing includes the use of misleading information in the account profile to carry out spam, obstruction or harassment actions.

The same platform launches a series of challenges or authentications to suspended accounts to verify, in short, that they are people and not robots.
