Ukraine: Lazebna announced an increase in pensions to UAH 7,000

Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna announced an increase in pensions in Ukraine to 7,000 hryvnias. This was discussed at a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, the press center of the President's Office reports .

According to Lazebna, the system developed by the ministry envisages that the deficit of the Pension Fund will not increase and this will increase pensions by 1.5-3 times. The average pension will increase from 3,500 to 7,000 hryvnias. Pension funds accumulated during working life will be inherited.

It should be noted that Lazebna did not even name the probable terms of such an increase in pension benefits.
