UN Secretary-General António Guterres has urged India and China to exercise maximum restraint. Associate Spokesperson of United Nations secretary general said on Tuesday, the world body was concerned about reports of violence and deaths at Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China and urged both sides to exercise maximum restraint. We take positive note of reports that two countries have engaged to deescalate the situation.
